The fusion amongst classical music, jazz, blues and rock is simply out of this world. It is very impressive to listen the type of variation on the Court Of The Crimson King album, passing from the heavy gem of 21st Century Schizoid Man to easy jewel arrangements such as Epitaph, I Talk To The Wind, Moonchild and The Court Of The Crimson King.

This is the “Ur” record of progressive rock. It is by turns jarring and aggressive, lush, gorgeous and ethereal, depending on the track. It is an essential album because, even if you don’t think you like “Prog Rock,” it has such a variety of sounds, styles and moods, there is bound to be something you’ll find appealing.
