My front wipers suddenly have the following behavior: - Auto and Intermittent settings do nothing. - Pressing up to the single wipe "mist" cycle will start a cycle but stops in the middle or anywhere if I stop holding it up. - Low and High speeds work, but similar to the mist cycle, will stop right where they are when they are turned off rather
[quote author=BoostIt link=topic=142690.msg3089439#msg3089439 date=1240924918] there no real intermittent setting with the auto wipers. if you switch it all the way up, then its the least sensitive, all the way down is most sensitive. thats how it is on mine, there is not intermittent, just sensitivity of the auto wipers. and they are a pain in the ass sometimes
Yeah. It's due to the placement of the wiper arm along the bottom of your windshield. The wiper arms are the same size, (because let's face it, it's more cost effective to make one option work for multiple settings) and the travel distances are the same for both wipers. Depending on the size of your windshield the wiping area may not overlap so There is. You can actually go to the settings in the infotainment and turn off auto rain wiper. Monkeyfeng • 4 yr. ago. Oh wow Thank you for that information. I didn't realize you can turn it off in the settings. Thank you so much! 1 more reply. DiMiTriElf • 4 yr. ago.a. Rear wiper arm and blade. b. On the way to the dealership, I could get the wipers to work intermittently. It seemed like when I put them on auto, that was what would bring them back to not working. The dealership had to order a F-BCM for replacement. 0q9N5GJ.
